Hi! My student access is about to expire soon - I will need to renew it and I would like to ask whether it is possible to get a new license without istalling a new version of 3ds max? Currently, I am working od 2022 version and I would like to avoid lossing all of installed plug ins and created shortcuts.

Hi @Nikodem.Cisowski,

Generally, the current version + 3 versions are available within the Autodesk Education Plan; this would mean 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020 are all available. So 2022 will still be available for a couple more years.

When you renew your education access, your licenses should automatically renew, so you should be able to run 3DS Max with no issues. If the license doesn't renew, download 3DS Max 2022 from the education product page again. You don't need to reinstall - when you click download, a license is assigned to your account.
