3ds Max hardware

Hello all,

I'm planning on using 3ds Max, AutoCAD and Revit quite a lot in the future so I figured I'd get myself a decent rig. Since I'm a bit financially challenged I can't afford anything very fancy. This is the setup that I came up with:

-Gainward nVidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB DDR5

-Intel Core i7 8700 3,20 GHz, LGA1151 BOX, Cofee Lake

-Crucial 16GB 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM

-Samsung SSD drive 500GB Evo 860 V-NAND, MZ-76E500B/EU

Do you thing this is a good setup which will allow for comfortable usage of primarily 3ds Max?

Hello,

This setup is absolutely perfect. A CPU cooler is highly recommended as the CPU will get hot if used for rendering.

I'd recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. It's tried-and-true and budget-friendly.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Joseph B.
