Looks like there's a bit of movement on the Arnold side as well.  I spy a note indicating support for ReCap point clouds...

I did a test with the new fluid sim this morning, very nice but if I close and open my test scene, all the simulation is gone and I cannot load my saved cache file. Any clue?

Hi Jean,

In order to see the simulation, you will need to open your simulation view and select the solve you want to see. You can have multiple solves, so this selection points to the corresponding cache files.

Hope that helps!

Hi Jean,

Can you create a screen grab showing what's going on?

Wow, I'm quite surprised that they released such a massive feature in the already-released 3ds Max 2018. If you were to ask me, I was expecting this to be released in the future as the flagship feature of the new release of 3ds Max 2020 or something like that.

Now if only they can get the fluids to work properly with the ART renderer...
