2021 Fluids won't render anymore using Vray?

HI,

Very odd, I created a fluid setup and did a few test renders with vray 5. All went well and had no issues.

So I re-simulated a longer version but this time, the fluids are not showing up when rendered. After an hour of troubling shooting, I gave up and made a brand new project.  All went well again, until at some point, it stopped showing up in the render.

What the hell is going on?? I purposely made sure I did not make any changes once I have a good test render. The only thing I did different was I made adjustments to the emitter location & re sim. The fluids are in the viewport, but will NOT render at some point.

Fluid display:  Bifrost Dynamic Mesh

Anyone with the same issue?

Thanks!

Accepted solution

Found the issue:    (OK Making my own personal notes:)

So if you change the default Cache Project folder  to (Override path), it will not render your mesh.

I needed to keep the default path when simming. (not sure why, but i'll take it)

Thanks to myself  🙂
