2 Default Lights not working 2025.

Hello everyone, as you can see in the screenshot, the two default lights are not working. I'm using 3ds Max 2025 Update 2.

Did the default lights work in Update 1? If so, what was different? It looks like you have light in your scene. Also, what render engine?

I tried the Default Lights in Max 2025.2 and my installation seems to work well. I posted two images. One is with the Basic settings like you have and the other is ticking shadows and AO and and adding some advanced features. It works well also. 

Can you try the same thing? Turn a few things on and see if you can replicate what I'm showing.

With boxes only you can't see this well. Add a sphere.

In my tests, I couldn't see any differences between 2024 and 2025, neither Standard nor High Quality, Basic nor Advanced.

Hey, I use Corona Render, and I didn't use any lights. Even with only one box in the viewport, I have the same problem. didn't check 2025 update 1, but with 2024 version i have no issue.

@wernienst are you pointin out a problem or are you saying that to you everything seems to work properly?
