I'm getting a maxscript error whenever I just hit the scripting menu item. I just want to run a simple wire-colour script on them.

Also while I'm here, any way to merge Revit Links between files? I'm assuming not. They're really handy when working on a developing scheme, but also infuriatingly crap!

Bump

have finally been bitten the inability to merge Revit links.

I have a scene with 5 or more links to different Revit 3D views, the project is still under development so this is essential functionality.

Unfortunately I seem to have an issue with my scene where it will not render correctly (Vray). It renders fine when merged in to a new file (same render preset, light assignment and scene state) but then I lose my links, which will require me to bring them in fresh and assign all the materials again as the project is likely to move on further.

Is there any workaround  to reset the scene to a default state but keep all its contents (I seem to remember that used to be an option) or other method to merge and keep the links intact?
