File link to cloud model

Hi. Has anyone had any luck with 3ds Max file link manager, linking files to a cloud BIM360 project? (Not exporting to Fbx and then linking but a direct link to Revit)
I have got it to work with the "Autodesk Docs" Folder, but that does not seem to sync to the cloud. (does not flag changes)
Found a workaround by linking it to the local file hidden deep in the windows directory (I don't think that is the best methodology)

Since around Max 2020-2021, we also started running into Linked Revit issues when the file was hosted on BIM360 and had to resort to either downloading the full Revit scene and linking it from a local folder (which defeats the purpose of the system) or reverting back to the Linked FBX process. We also went back and forth with the Autodesk staff for a few months and couldn't confidently identify the culprit causing the Linked Revit process to fail. Would love to hear a solution, however, since Linked Revit files worked great for importing metadata attached to each object.

Would be great if we could get a solution to this!

Hello,

I've just come across this issue.  I have to publish the revit model anytime I want to update in 3ds max.

Any worth workarounds?  Thanks in advance.
