I have errors in the software since when starting the program, entering the materials area and changing any value, the program freezes.

It seems like you're experiencing issues with 3ds Max freezing when entering the materials area or changing values. Here are some potential solutions:

  1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause stability issues.

  2. Check System Requirements: Verify that your computer meets the recommended system requirements for running 3ds Max.

  3. Software Updates: Make sure you have the latest updates installed for your 3ds Max software. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements.

  4. Scene Complexity: Simplify your scene by reducing its complexity. High-polygon scenes or complex materials can strain the software and lead to freezing.

  5. Material Editor Issues: If the problem persists within the Material Editor, try resetting the Material Editor or reinstalling it.

  6. Corrupted Preferences: Your preferences may be corrupted. Reset 3ds Max to its default settings or delete the preference files.

  7. Plugin Conflicts: Disable third-party plugins to check if they are causing the issue. Re-enable them one by one to identify the problematic plugin.

  8. Memory Issues: Insufficient RAM can cause freezing. Ensure you have enough free memory available by closing unnecessary applications.

  9. Check for Known Issues: Check Autodesk's official forums or support resources for any known issues related to your version of 3ds Max.

  10. Contact Autodesk Support: If the problem persists, contact Autodesk Support for more specialized assistance.

Remember to back up your work before making significant changes to the software or your system. If the issue persists, providing more specific details about your system and the steps leading to the problem could help in finding a more tailored solution.
