Organizing the Timeline into Seperate Animations

Hi all,

I'm creating a technical animation which will include a series of small animations including:

- Camera Panning around the scene

- Pipes moving to join together

- Screw Driver tightens screws

- etc....

Is there a way to separate each individual animation and then I can render the Frame sequence for each, for example, Frame 1 - 100 is the camera panning, frame 200 - 300 is the pipes moving together etc...

I control all my animations on the timeline, but it's very messy and I have to use a high number of frames to fit everything in.

What is the best way to 'separate' each animation? I am new to animation software by the way 🙂

I have attached images of my 'Scene sequence' and my current timeline.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi all,

Just as an update the best way I found was to separate each scene into 1,000 Frames (assuming a scene is less than 1000 frames).

So each 1,000 frame I start a new scene and render the according frame range for each scene in the render settings, for example: frames 0-250, 1000-14000, 2000-2150 etc.

This enables me to organise each scene and ensure each animation is happening in the correct sequence and the right time 🙂
