Biped: carry/ drag travel suitcase

I've done it before, but so long ago I forgot how I did it.
Vaguely remember to have found a tutorial, back then, but not even sure about that anymore...
- The biped character needs to carry/ drag the suitcase along.
- The case should not leave the floor
I've tried some with 'Wire parameters', but as soon as I link the X movement of the case-dummy to the hand-dummy, the case-dummy jumps away from the character.
Anyone here can help me back on track?
