2 Hand animation with bones

Hi,

 

i have an shovel animation and need to attach the shovel to the Hand, i tried with attach constraint and link constraint my problem is max are using just one fixpoint and the shovel goes throught the right hand or the left one instand of 2 because 2 hands. I attach to the hand 2 dummys, one for the left Hand and one for the right hand, how can I attach the 2 dummys to the shovel because its only one object.

It is not clear how to decipher "...shovel goes throught the right hand or the left one instand of 2 because 2 hands".

 

Remember that an object can have many children but only one parent.  But, an object can also have a grand parent and a great grandparent.
