It is common work to apply some action to all but a few elements. Currently you can select the ones we don't want, hide them all temporarily, make a whole new selection in the same view, and then you can take the desired action. It's just a few steps, but when we're handling thousands of items, it'll take a few minutes.
The purpose is to select the items you want to exclude and reverse the set with a single click. For example, in Photoshop, you can press "Ctrl+Sft+I" and get it instantly.
In addition, it would be great to invest our selection in two different areas:
- within the whole project
- within the current view
(same as the "Select All" command)
