I have code in place that allows the user to select a point that is tethered to a base point with a dashed line being drawn during selection.
If the user picks a point then I get a "PromptStatus.OK" message and the resulting point has the X,Y and Z coordinates as expected.
However I need the user to enter a distance as merely selecting a point isn't accurate enough. Whenever I type in a value then hit return the GetPoint function returns with a "PromptStatus.Keyword". The numberI entered is there as text, but the resulting point has the X,Y and Z set to 0 giving me no idea as to the actual placement of the point.
How do I set the prompts so that I can type in the information and get meaningful data back?
The current code is attached as an ascii text file.
