If I change the pivot value in Work Space A is not updated in Work Space B until I actually change the derived field into another value. The derived field will change but the pivot wont.
I would like that the pivot value updates as the derived value does
Attached is how is happening right now.
Currently any attachment that is uploaded on PLM360 for a specific item can be downloaded from a user if the correct permission is granted.
If it was possible for a user to only have the preview functionality in the attachment tab permissible, that would be very beneficial in regards to security. This would allow users the access to view the attachment without having the threat of intellectual property being distributed.
Below is an image of the attachments tab. If the links circled below were removed or hidden, that would provide a suitable solution were the user wouldn’t be able to download the attachment.
Also if it were possible to view a larger preview of the attachment, that would enhance the user experience.
Our request is for the dashboard charts to be able to be set to be visible by default at log on. In our company it is crucial for users to be able to see their current KPIs, metrics etc easily. Having them visible at logon (and any time they revist their homepage), means that they see them daily without having to remember to look for them. We believe this will help to improve the company productivity, accuracy and timeliness in hitting weekly targets - all very important for us!
This fits nicely with the suggestion of having user based roles for dashboards and being able to set which sections are collapsed or expanded by default ( http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-PLM-360-Ide
In truth, I rather assumed that having charts that were specific to the user login and being able to set them as always visible came by deault so it 's a bit disappointing to discover that functionality is not there yet! However, I'm sure Autodesk will be able to being this about in a future release!
Many thanks,
Fiona
Hi,
I had always find sorting the BOM a really headache whenever I add or remove items from my BOM.
The items in a BOM is tag to a running number.
See attched screen shot example. I had removed item 1.74 from my BOM and I need to add another 5 items into the BOM but my nightmare is that the BOM is not sorted according to the item number. If I need to add 5 items, it will appeared right at the end of the list. If I want to have them probably sorted, I need to make changes to the running number one by one.
Can I suggest that the BOM item list should be sorted according to their item number or may be a sort button provide to users to give them a choice to choose to sort their BOM.
Thank you.
Regards,
Carol Mak
I really like the ability to have sections in the Item Details tab collapsed by default. Thank you for implementing this option for me.
Similarly, I would like to have the ability to have the Owner and Change Summary section collapsed by default. I like to have the Owner and Change Summary section on Item Details, but it can clutter the page. It would be great if I can make this collapsed by default and then if you want to see the information, uncollapse it.
Thank you.
Robb
We would like the ability to establish default or role-based configuration of a user's dashboard, so that pre-selected charts are displayed upon login and we don't have to provide instructions to each and every user about how they should set up their dashboard.
One should also be able to configure which areas are expanded or collapsed by default on a user's dashboard page.
Thanks,
Michael
