Apple has announced the next OS X El Capitan earlier today, and the first preview version is already available for app developers. AutoCAD team is starting to analyze the compatibility on this OS and preparing to fix the potential issues.

Some of AutoCAD users may have access to the El Capitan preview version, and would like to test AutoCAD on it. Please kindly post any of your findings in this thread, that would help other users and also the AutoCAD team.

Please include the following info in your posts for reference:

-OS X version(for example, DP1 15A178w)

-AutoCAD version

Thanks,
The AutoCAD for Mac Team

I purchased and have enjoyed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my late 2012 retina MacBook Pro UNTIL El Capitan 10.11.3. Now it crashes with the slightest tag change, line creation, etc. To find an AutoCAD answer via their web site is less than customer service oriented. Would anyone know how I may remedy this issue? I'm a light user not 3D. Glp

Hey, man. I had the same problems. The only solution is to download the
2016 version. I used the beta edition when the 2013 and 2015 started
crashing. Could not draw a line.

Use the 2016 version, perhaps it is really the only way out.

Hi guys

Im running AutoCAD 2013 for Mac and have experienced some random issues such as the page setup dialog box disappearing when i try to print since switching to El Capitan.

is there any patch to resolve this issue with the printing? the main software runs as normal as far as i used so far - its just the printing issue that i have come across so far.

thanks
