I understand Vred is not a modelling tool , Ive been using it for image and animation creation for 10 years , but as a design evaluation tool for the Automotive industry which I think we agree it is , having the ability to markup is extremely important . The reality today is Designers still prefer to lay tape lines on physical properties , why , because they can . I would love to see a tool addded to the VR menu that allows designers to lay tapelines whilst immersed in VR , would be incredibly powerful . Especially during collaboration sessions . I could see a designer immersed for hours laying tapelines on a virtual model .. that could then be exported to a math modeller to work on in Alias or Maya . I was thinking a thin solid tube with say up to 5 control points would be perfect with the ability to transform the control points in VR. Please , please make this happen - its like the final step in design evaluation in Vr thats currently missing.
