One of the features that really drew me to VRED was the ability to utilize measured materials to create crazy realistic and accurate images. I have contacted x-rite and have even had them measure a few of my companion's unique powder coat finishes, but i can't use the AxF file they provide unless i upgrade to VRED Pro.
I had to fight with our budget to find the room to purchase VRED Design and there is no way we could ever afford VRED Pro. Plus, we will have to pay x-rite for measuring each material. There are no other features I would use in VRED Pro, and VRED design can actually work with the measured materials after VRED Pro converts the AxF to .osb.
So what I really need is a place I can send an AxF file to, they run it though VRED Pro and convert it (likely at a cost) to an .osb so it can be used in VRED Design. This would make me so unbelievably happy!
