X-rite and TAC 7 material scanner

Just wondering about X-rite measured materials. I have a few lingering questions;

1. Is there anywhere you can download or buy x-rite measured materials? 

2. I'm curious what the cost of a X-rite TAC7 physical material scanner would be. I don't really want to be hassled by a sales person as I'm only curious more than anything. 

3. Does anyone here use one. I'd love to hear what you think.

2. I've heard numbers around 150k €. Their big TAC cost 500 € per scan or something

3. They look great, although they were a bit gpu-heavy for realtime use when I tried them. If you're raytracing it shouldn't be a problem.

We have a few AxF examples in our Asset Manager Library. Not sure if all of them were scanned with the latest Tac7 or the earlier Dome Prototype.

The price depends a bit on the complexity of the material and the postprocessing that is involved.
