Does VRED do false color renderings?

Hello,

I am trying to find out if VRED can do false color renderings? The kind where each pixel is colored based on its luminance in the scene. I am attaching an example of what I am referring to.

Thanks!

Gordon

Hi,

in the camera editor when you have selected a camera in the Image Processing tab you can choose various tonemappers. There you also find a luminance and an illuminance tonemapper.

Depending on the VRED Version you are using you might need to enable the photometric parameters in the render settings in order to get accurate results. In the dialog box that pops up choose "Adjust values" and just ignore that the other option even exists.

Kind regards

Michael
