Ctrl+x Clones

I just realized that if I Ctrl+x Clones and Ctrol+v the clone in another folder it loses the clone.

Drag and drop works but sometimes with long scenegraphs make it harder.

How can I Ctrl+c or Ctrl+x a clone?

Thanks

If you have 3x clones than Ctrl+X /Ctrl+V should work. If you have only 2x clones than the connection between the clones is lost because Ctrl+X is basically a cut from scene and the one object left in the scene doesn´t no anymore about its counterpart in that moment. VRED doesn´t store the info in the background where the cut object came from because it might be you never past it back. In the 3x clones scenario it works because there are still clones in the scene VRED can reference back when pasting. So this is by design in the 2x clones scenario. You can either Copy/Paste and delete the original object afterwards or drag´n drop. It is also possible to switch the Tag View at the bottom to a second scenegraph and drag from one to the other.
