Changing default environment switch

Hi there,

There is currently an error with my default environment switch inside Vred 2020, in that my variant sets no longer switch between different environements from the default environment switch. I tried to creating a new environment switch and assigning it as the 'True' default in node editor. I've also applied this environment to all materials & geometry but I'm still having the same issue that my variant sets aren't switching between different environments. Does anybody know what may be causing this?

Attached are screenshots of the original default environment switch shown within a variant set, with no option to select any of the environments which are shown in the material editor

Have you tried to delete and drag´n drop your environment switch into the VariantSets again?

Do you manage also Environment Node as geometry variant set?

Yes have tried this, hasn't fixed the issue unfortunately

No, I only manage environments in Material VariantSet

Try to add the geometry environment switch to your variant set.

Don't remove the material switch.

Have tried this as well Chris but still having the same issues. Do you know the reason that it no longer works as a material switch?

Hi Robert,

is there maybe another material with the name Environments in your material editor?

Could you maybe provide us with a vpb file where only the environments are included? Then we could take a look at it.
