XREFS Greyed out

Anonymous

Recently, I had asked a question about how to grey out xrefs in the main drawing. And I was advised, to grey turn all layers in all xrefs to grey (i used color number 9) and then to  plot dialog box , invoke plot style table, and select the grey color ( in our case #9) and reduce the  screening to a low number ( i used 20). This worked perfectly. However, this pen assignment profile to other drawings, and if you print a drawing with xrefs with color 9, then all this test prints grey out.  Even if you increase the screening back to 100, all xrefs which carry color 9, still print greyed out. How can I fix this, so that the color 9's don't print greyed out? Thank you.

The trouble drawings has the title block as an xref. The text color on the xref title block is red in color, however on the main drawings it appears as color 9. If there is a way to show the text on the main drawing same as the xref color ( which is red) then we will have solved the problem, at least temporarily.

Thanks you

If you don't want to affect plot settings, you should learn to adapt to xdwgfadectl instead of changing layer colors. Set it high (above 50) and it will accomplish the background look without affecting plots.
