vla-save to another version

I seem to have run into a snag with vla-save (running 2007). It does not seem to be honoring any system variables that set the default save to another version, ie 2004, etc. There is no switch built-in like saveas. Does anyone have a workaround to this?

I have had the same problem. You have to use vla-SaveAs.

Thanks for the reply Tim.. Are there any gotchas when using this method? I will be in a drawing and will be performing a saveas and then exiting the drawing, hopefully saving it down a version in the process..

I haven't run into any yet, if there is any. You also have to do it this
way when you use ObjectDBX.

Maybe someone else can chime in with their experiences, good or bad.
