Visual LISP Help Topics

You know. It'd really be nice if, while using the VLISP Editor, that when you picked Help > Visual LISP Help Topics, it would actually take you to Visual Lisp Help topics instead of the home Help page for AutoCAD.

I've spent ten minutes looking for a list of Visual Lisp functions and have only been lead in circles to topics such as "About AutoLISP" which does me no good.

For gosh sakes, Autodesk, how about a link in the Help file that goes directly to AutoLISP Funtions?

Grr!

BTW, I've still not found what I'm looking for. Just a list of LISP functions like car, caar, cadr, etc.

I'm sure I'll find it soon, but just had to vent.

I'm almost ready to grab the 2009 AutoCAD Customization guide book off the shelf!

Yep, that's it! Thanks. I had just found it myself through several more clicks in the Help file.

Interesting the title is "functions reference (autolisp)".

As an experiment I typed "functions reference (autolisp)" into the Help Search.... NOTHING IN THE FIRST SEVERAL PAGES took me to the list of functions!

I don't complain much, but I find this ridiculous.

Thanks again hmsilva for the link!

You don't really need to save links.  There are filters below the search window on the left.  They should automatically be checked when coming from vlide but choose developer and AutoLISP.  Then virtually anything you type directly accesses the help files you need.  In addition, in vlide if you push the question button while on any built-in function, it takes you directly to the help on the function.
