Total hatch areas by color

Hello

It would be a big help to have a routine that , having several hatches with different colors selected, would sum them and present the total area of each hatch group (color).

Looks the right tool but some colors don't appear in the table.

In the image below colors 1, 123 and 253 have area but no label.

The same happens with true colors.

One of the things you should know about this forum is that the resident lisp hackers here routinely tend to overlook DATAEXTRACTION. I'm not sure why that is, but in many cases, it can solve problems without any programming at all (of course, if one is trying to peddle LISP hacking services here, that could have something to do with it) 

The above was done in about a minute with < 20 mouse clicks using the DATAEXTRACTION command and Excel.

Could you show step by step of how you did?

My concern is: Could it be possible to calculate when my selections contain multiple layers?
