toolbar command line syntax

Hi,

I'm an Inventor user, but was a former AutoCAD user.

Need to make some macros/scripts/etc. to process some DXF exports.

Can't recall the syntax and rules.

Will someone please link me to the rules/syntax for making macros that I can put on the toolbar?
I already have a new button and tried writing the syntax based on stuff I learned from Google search, but to no avail.

this is a simple button I made that just inserts a attribute block, not sure if it helps you in anyway?
