Tool Palette Set Not Changing

So I've created tool palette sets to be used by different disciplines within the same department. I have created a button that runs commands that change the *_TOOLPALETTEPATH to the specific tool palette set paths for that discipline. There is also one set to the default palettes found at the roamable root location.

This works great on my workstation. The button gets pressed for whichever set I want, the command executes, the path gets changed and the tool palettes update.

However, the problem does not work on what seems like everyone else's workstation. The button gets pressed, the command executes, the path changes in the support file paths in the options window, but the tool palette itself does not change as if the path never changed.

Does anyone have any thoughts of why this could be?

Not using toolpalette groups:
Turn off the toolpalette before (re)populating the support path.
Turn on the toolpalette afterwards.

For using toolpalette groups:
Did you import the XPG file(s) on the other's workstation?
Create the XPG on your workstation (defined toolpalette groups)
by exporting, then import this file on the other stations.

I am not using palette groups, just multiple folders that house the different discipline palette sets. I use a lisp routine to swap the support paths pointing to each and assign it to a button for everyone to use.

I changed the lisp to close the palettes, make the support path change, then re-open the palettes. Still no luck in updating the actual tool palettes after making the change.

The odd thing is that it works for me, but does not seem to work for anyone else.
