Recently I have been tasked with the job of creating a new template for my job to use with all our Autocad drawings. Our current template from my predecessor features a few unique and helpful ideas, just implemented poorly. I can not figure out if this is due to program limitations or his programming knowledge.
Currently our template is setup so that the first tab is a table of drawings taken from the other tabs that allows wires to easily be tracked between the drawings due to not having to change tabs. Picture below:
My question is:
Is it possible to configure a template that creates a new viewport when a new tab is generated and assigns the new viewport to either the next sheet in the front tab or makes a new sheet and populates it with the viewport?
