Select similar within a selected entity

Hi guys

When using "select similar" command, it selected everything similar on the model space,

However, I am traying to find a way to use select similar command only on a specific selection I seize.

Like we have this option with "find and replace" command

You can first isolate the desired objects (_isolate), and then look for similar ones among them.

And basically, I can add an option like this to the Select Same Objects command especially for you.

isolate works 

Select Same Objects has multiple options and  it's nice too. especially 3d or complex files
