it changed the color with the "vplayer" "c" command after selecting objects, In a viewport, 
I want to restore these to its original layer color.

You have a Lisp file or

Where is it? We can use the it to restore he layer color in a similar way via selection of objects, if there's no it, restore the color in the usual way, via layer dialog

Just add "m" now...

"vplayer" "m" "c"...
