  1. Hello everyone, Kindly, can we make this program work in units of meters..

1 model space unite = 1.00 meter in my mined

How are reinforcing-bar diameters designated in metric units?  For example, this setting:

 

(* (getreal "\nTop bar Size [ie. 4, 5, 6 : ] :") 0.125)

 

is because Imperial-units bar diameter numbers represent eighths of an inch -- a #4 bar is 4/8" [i.e. 1/2"] in diameter.  That's why it multiplies the given number by 1/8 to get an actual bar diameter to use in calculations.  You would need to use numbers appropriate to the way they are specified in metric terms [which I don't know], to get a result in meters.  Other numerical functions would also need to be adjusted similarly for metric standards -- for example, it looks like there's something in there for distance in from the concrete surface.

It looks like you have to multiply everything by 0.0254.

i.e.,

tb_dia (*(* (getreal "\nTop bar Size [ie. 4, 5, 6 : ] :") 0.125) 0.0254)

I don't think so, unless for some reason they're drawing Imperial-sized reinforcing but in Metric drawing units.  Surely metric reinforcing bars don't come in multiples-of-1/8" diameters.  Are they specified simply by diameter in millimeters, or centimeters, or maybe some kind of gauge, or shorthand numbering [like a #1 is a certain standard size, and a #2 is another, etc., but those are not dimensional numbers], or...?  What are  the standard sizes?  Etc.

thanks you are our autodesk wise man what I want is not to convert the rebar diameter in know how to convert it , what I want is to be fully by a meter unit, for example, sectoin in 300 by 600 I want to be as 0.4 units in 0.6 units in drawing
