Hello everyone, I am not sure if this is the correct forum to place this question or not, but I have a question about printing from AutoCAD to a thermal printer, to create wire labels.
The company I work for is going to purchase a thermal printer to print out wire labels (Heat shrink labels).
The "wire label" text will be from a wiring diagram that I produce.
The thermal printer has a software that imports excel spreadsheet to print from.
So my question is, what would be the best way to get my wiring diagram wire text into a spreadsheet.
I use standard AutoCAD, not AutoCAD electrical, by the way.
I know there are LISP routines that will take your text and put them in a spreadsheet, but I was wanting to know if AutoCAD has some other built in capabilities for this.
Thanks
