Polar tracking along path with custom angle

Hi!

I'm doing drawings with sloped roofs with lots of diagonal lines. There are many cases where I want to stretch or move points of lines (line, pline). Polar tracking mode only works with pre-specified angle increments. But straight lines don't always lie on specific angles.
Right now I'm having to draw xlines to align to the intersections.
Is it possible to create a lisp to polar tracking along the working line (by selection line, or at least selection 2 points...).
Or a way to do it with knowledge of using autocad that I don't know.

Thanks for anysupport.

You should have posted this to the General ACAD forum. The folks there could show you some techniques.

Have you tried the Extention osnap?

SNAPANG to set the crosshairs angle to match a Line or Polyline or whatever.  ORTHO ON to restrict movement to that direction in Moving/Copying/Stretching/etc.

Hi!
I also used the same way as you guide for specific cases. I'm trying to find a more compact solution like polar track. Thank you very much!

Hi!
Thanks for your suggestion. But doesn't Extension osnap work with custom diagonals!?. Doesn't it work according to Polar Tracking angle!? If you can do it with custom diagonals , please guide me in more detail. Thanks!
