New material in Autocad 2018 for students

In Autocad 2018 for students, in material bowser, i cannot create new material, because i cannot write in the fields. Is  it normal?

I noticed the same problem, but i found out that if you quickly change the name of the generic material, the fields seems to respond well.

Thank you David, I solved this problem like this:

Instead of writing the name directly, rename the material and everything works
