mleaders?

Can anyone tell why this happens to some mleaders and not to others in the same dwg.? AutoCAD seems to be multiplying the stretch distance. See attach.

It happens to most of my mleaders.  You probably should report it as a bug.  I was thinking of doing so.  It has been a problem for a number of versions.
