Lisp to create aligned dimension between selected blocks

Is there any lisp program to place dimensions automatically between selected blocks?
I have an external street lighting layout, in which i have to dimension the distance between each lighting poles (blocks). Please help me.

Hi Cooper, I very much appreciate this lisp. Do you have any other useful lisp? How do I conceptualize it if I will be making one of my own into a specific configuration?

That's a little too open-ended...  I suggest, if you have an idea for something you'd like to do that AutoCAD doesn't do with basic commands, that you Search this Forum [and the internet in general] for terms related to what you want to do.  There are countless routines available, from the very simple that you can easily learn from to the very complex that you may not understand at first.  You might find some things you can use >here<, where I and other people have posted a bunch of things -- how many of them would be of any use to you is up to you to decide.
