Lisp needed explode mirrored block and reblock

Does anyone out there have a lisp routine to RENAME and REBLOCK a MIRRORED BLOCK including

the ATTRIBUTE definitions.

I would like to be able to MIRROR a BLOCK

Select  the BLOCK

The routine would then EXPLODE the BLOCK, RENAME (with a suffix "-M") it and INSERT it.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, maybe consider to create dynamic block and ad to it flip parameter.

Then I think you could achieve what you want without any routines.

Hi, I thought of that but I don't think it helps. We use alot of 3D blocks to build up an assembly - we then mirror the assembly. When we go to create a view with VIEWBASE we don't have all of the assembly shown. This is because the blocks have been MIRRORED. Hopefully AUTODESK will fix it .........One day. Robert Scragg
