Leaders with an item number circle and no landing

Howdy folks,

Another ridiculously simple one for you, I'm sure, but I'm having a brain fa....  err, I mean I'm being particularly forgetful and cannot remember how to create a leader with no landing (I found out how to do this part, "en solo", but not with the other half of my question), and adding a circle for my listing number.  The only way I've done this before is to connect a leader (arrow end) to the item I want to list, then draw a circle on the open end of the leader, such that the center of the circle contacts the open end of the leader, this way we are certain the circle is equally in-line on both sides, not skewed, then trim the leader line back to the edge of the circle.  Then manually add the text (number in this case).  Rinse and repeat.  And that was back when was a student!  So I'm thinking in the past 20 or so years, there has to be a way of doing all this in minimal steps now, right?

I know, I'm going to slap myself when I get the answer because it will be obvious and simple, and I just didn't remember.  Or, moreover, Dean is likely to supply the answer, and then verbally slap me in the face for not remembering...   What...?  It was a slap of love to jog my brain and help me remember...

Have I mentioned how great it is to have you guys here with answers ready to go for seemingly just about any situation.  Greatly appreciated, everyone.

Thanks,

Mark

You are using multileaders, right?  Content type: circle?  Leader settings?

Or better yet, some sort of text box on the open end of the leader (something with options like the TC command, to have a box, slot or circle) would be ideal.  A future thought, perhaps...

If I type in "MLEADER", I see no options listed as either "Content type: circle" or "Leader settings".

I do see "Content first", and "Options", are these what I should use?

Exploring into the commands a little more gets me close, thanks DBroad for pointing me in the right direction (forgive the obvious leader reference there).

Use mlstyle (mls for short) to set up a multileader style.  Put that style in your template or add it to your palettes.
