Select it and drag it (with CTRL) to the right side of the screen, it changes side if it comes close.

And with CTRL + 0 its gone !

Place it, save your workspace, lock it.

Why!?

It's the 'docking/anchor bar' to dock the dialog to the left, right, upper or lower edge of the screen / drawing area. If set to 'auto-hide' the dialog will only appear when hovering over the anchor with the mouse.

...but, if you drag it to the right side, it needs to expand to the left, so the anchor will be on the right side. If it where left side, it would expand offscreen... Same for left, top & bottom. While dragging the dialog around the screen, you will see acad will automatically switch it to the nearest edge. To make sure the dialog will allways show properly.

On which side you see it, depends on where you put it on the screen (while floating), once docked the bar will allways be topside.

I would not recommend locking it, since you can no longer move or resize the dialog window.

Personally i think your best approach would be to anchor it to the left side, and set it to auto-hide. (right click the anchor/bar and turn on:

Allow docking

Anchor left <

Auto-hide

This will put it on the left side of the screen and makes it expand to the right side (over the drawing area) when you move the mouse over the anchor.

edit:

...and save your workspace to make sure it will stay there...
