I have a new job where they are running Land Desktop 2004 on Windows 10 machines (64-bit). Yay, I'm doing engineering again!
They installed fine (without Longbow), but there is one seriously annoying glitch that started about 2 years ago... After they insert a title block with border, exploded, into paper space, any dtext edit followed by a mouse-wheel zoom seizes up the drawing to where you have to kill it in Task Manager. Have you ever heard of or seen such a symptom? They had been running 2004 for years on Windows 7 machines without any problems.
I have been looking for anything odd, but have found nothing yet. The title block is nothing but lines, polylines, dtext, and a few 2D solids. My only current suspects are perhaps multiple ADCADD_ZZ blocks or maybe BOLD.SHX, which I will test by removing and purging.
