intersecting lines/polyline

Hi guys,

please see the attached files.

I have a lot of lines or rectangles that are intersecting.

I want it to be only the outlines of these lines.

The intersect command does the exact opposite 😞

Using autocad 2013 and up.

Convert them to regions and then use UNION?

If you have an AEC product, there is a command called LINEWORKSHRINKWRAP that will do it in one step.

In some overlay programs, there's a LINEWORKSHRINKWRAP command [I learned of it here].  If you don't have that, do a Search on this board for "shrinkwrap" and you'll find a number of threads about the same idea.
