Illustrate in wall backing for cabinetry

I work for a medium cabinet/millwork manufacturing company and am in search of ideas for a faster way to illustrate where in-wall backing is required prior to installation. We generate our shop drawings using AutoCAD 2019. I created an in-wall blkg multileader that is shown in this example, but it is time-consuming to draw the multi leaders and then position them exactly where they need to be (3" down from top of tall, upper & base cabinets, for example). There must be an easier and faster way to do it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@CherylRCAD2 ,

It's fairly hard to understand what you are requesting or what your desired process flow would be based on your original description & pdf. Can you elaborate further? Perhaps provide a sample of what a before and after would look like?

And, as always, if possible a sample .dwg file would go a long ways also.

Best,

~DD

explode-able blocks of predefined mleaders from a template file that you pull in from your ToolPalette into each drawing, then just simply edit the text when needed, if you want something simple and ready to use.

Thank you, CodeDing, for your response. I have tried Pendean's suggestion and it's working pretty well. Sorry for not replying sooner. I work part-time so was away for 4 days.

Thank you, pendean. Your suggestion is working pretty well. It is definitely better than the way we were doing it previously. 🙂
