How to get AutoCAD full version Express Tools to work under AutoCAD LT

I wanted to use the Burst command that is part of AutoCAD Express Tools.

Apparently the Express Tools are not automatically loaded under AutoCAD LT. I did get the Burst command to load when I loaded all! Express Tools lsp files with Appload. But I prefer them to be autoloaded. I assume there must be a single lisp file to autoload the Express commands.

When I load: acetauto.lsp  it is successfully loaded.
But then I get:
Command: ; error: no function definition: ACET-AUTOLOAD2

Does anyone have an idea on how to get the Express Tools to Autoload under LT?

Cannot find ACET-AUTOLOAD2

I'm assuming you mean AutoCAD LT 2024? From my understanding, there is an abbreviated functionality of Express Tools included with LT 2024. You may not actually be able to use the full AutoCAD version of ET with LT 2024:  https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDLT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-66179117-AF23-441B-A990-3266FAF7EA38

But assuming you DO have some form of Express Tools shipped with your ACADLT2024:

1)   Did you type EXPRESSTOOLS at the command line yet? That can kick-start the menu into place.

2)   Check if the Express Tools is actually loaded:

  • Type CUI at the Command Line,
  • and check for EXPRESS under Partial Customization Files

3)   Can you add the BURST lisp to the StartUp Suite (does ACADLT even have a StartUp Suite Now)?

4)   Can you use the acadLTdoc.lsp (acaddoc.lsp in regular ACAD) method of initializing the BURST lisp every time you open a drawing? From ACDLT Help Online about the various methods to auto-load Lisp routines: https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDLT/2024/ENU/?guid=GUID-FDB4038D-1620-4A56-8824-D37729D42520

Also, others have asked about this (there appears to have some limited ET functionality in ACADLT 2024); maybe something in this thread can help, toohttps://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/express-tools-in-autocad-lt-2024/m-p/12405011#M20328...

Autodesk went out of their way to not provide a backdoor option to ETs in LT2024-2025.
Sorry.

Plus... you might just be skirting licensing too: be very careful, especially since we are in their front yard in these forums.
