Are you saying any lisp files? not a one?  And you were able to open the files before on the same machine?

Could be a corrupted installation?  Before you ask IT to re-install, try first  "Reset settings to default" found at start menu, under your AutoCAD version, usually the last item.

Yes, any lisps are not opening, this happens today only after running some of the lisp routines!

I am going through that lisp routines.

previously  also some issue with my AutoCAD startup error, still not Reset !

Running lisp routines? are they loaded at startup?  Yes, go thorugh all of them. You probably assign a protected symbol as a variable along the way.

And also read this --> About Protected Symbols (AutoLISP)

Tell us how it goes.

I use FINDSTR from the CMD of windows its a DOS type command you are in the operating system level in simple terms, Go bottom left Windows type CMD a black screen will appear with say C:

If you know the directory where your startup lisps are then use "findstr"

cd \mydirectory\moredirectory\mylisps

then do FINDSTR ACAD *.lsp it will check all your lisps for "ACAD" and show names.

You need to put the correct path in the CD \ step if you need to change drives do it type 😧 it will go to D drive.

corrupted lisp VLIDE-DSK.png

I found the word "file is corrupted" then I look into the file path & replace the same file with another PC (same AutoCAD 2017 Civil 3d)

It works !

This happens many times while I found a lisp file !

I am sharing it below . . .   have a look & reply
