Exporting plotter to an old acad station

Hi all,
Is it possible to use the 2014 built in plotter on a 2011 Autocad station ?
Im talking about the PDF TO DWG plotter. I found that the 2014 version suits my needs far better than the 2011 version and would like to have it on another station with currently 2011 autocad installed. .
Im using true type fonts so I need this extra support.
If anyone knows how to make that switch and export this built in plotter to my other station I would be happy to hear

try renaming the old version file so that you don't delete it, just in case. Then, copy the new version to replace to old. Give it a test and let us know if it works.

(I do not have access to either 2011 or 2014, but this is how I would go about testing.)

Thanks for your reply, 

I tried copying the .pc3 and .pmp from 2014 to 2011..  there is a slight change but still when in 2011 the

text comes out backwords (its a right to left truetype font..)  .  

They only managed to do it right on the 2014 version...  it seems as if there is a secret engine inside Autocad that makes the PDF conversion..    

If I could only know how to locate that secret enigne I guess we would have solved the problem...

Have you considered using an alternative to "DWGtoPDF"? Personally I like PDFCreator. I used it for years and it is and always will be Free Open Source Software. It has all the great features that matter most. It installs easily, shows up as a printer on the plot dialog, and generate true vector PDF files.

Maybe give it a try.

Thanks very much. I did try it. It is a very good pdf engine, one of the greatest I have seen actually..

Unfortunatly, The problem with the right-to-left font stays the same...

It was really nice in 2014 that Autodesk paid attention to right-to-left language users and made this enhanced PDF_to_DWG.. (supports RTL truetype fonts)

Would you believe that untill 2014 I used third party autocad-addware in order to write some right-to-left text ???

I mean you could use SHX fonts but the whole system still works left-to-right... so it still creates lots of bugs...

Take a look at your printer drivers. You may need to install the latest
version or an AutoCAD version. How much have you looked into customizing
the properties file? have you visited the plotting/printing forum?
