Draw text to match a line's angle

I would like to draw "TEXT" or "MTEXT" the same angle as a line that I select.  Can anyone point me to a LISP routine that makes this easy and quick?

I use the attached to change the Snap Angle to align with just about anything [not just Lines], then with Ortho on it's easy to establish the rotation angle for Text/Mtext/Block insertions/Rotate commands/etc.

Load it up, and type AS to simply Align the Snap angle with something, or ASB to Align the Snap angle and  set the Snap Base to a meaningful location on whatever the object is.
