Our company currently directs all users to a central network location for templates, plot styles, pipe catalog data, etc. so that, as they are updated, everyone gets the same updates. Because of some latency issues, we are debating placing all this custom data on local machines. However, we would like the ability to either download or push out updates on a regular basis. Our IT professionals tell us this can't be done with a login script. Is it possible to add code to the LISP file that runs on cad startup to copy those files from the network to the local machines? What better solutions are users/cad mangers employing?
