Dimension Text Location with Alternate Units

I had this question in the AutoCad forum and was directed over here for possible help.

Using alternate units I want my dimension to look like this for example - 66 ¾" [5'-6 ¾"] above the line and ROUGH OPENING below the line. And I want to be able to matchprop other dimensions to this.  The only way I have been able to get my dimension to look like this is through the text edit command, but this way I cannot matchprop other dimensions I want to change. I use the prefix and suffix with dimensions and matchprop all the time with non-alternate dimensions and it is so much easier than using text edit.  I am not a LISP writer but if anyone has done this I would appreciate the help.  Thanks
