DCL is wrong width and height cutting off controls

Has anyone seen this? Would anyone know the solution? I thought maybe the windows display was set to 125% and checked that, but it was set to 100%. So I don't know what else would cause this.

Questions:

1) Is this dialog box generated using a custom command or built-in AutoCAD command?

2) What AutoCAD version?

3) Are latest updates installed?

1. I am not 100^ sure what you mean. Is it generated via .NET? No. It is generated with DCL and Lisp.

2. Civil 3D 2022

3. Latest updates are installed.

4. I have not tried resetting Autocad. Somehow I "feel" like its not an Autocad issue but rather a Windows issue. But I guess it could be an Autocad issue and will try the reset when I return home tonight.

Yes. When I took notice and decided to look for the answer (by first searching google then searching the forums), I had a different dialog on screen. I wanted to have a better display as an example so I ran a few different lisp (with dialogs) to find a good example. They all do the same thing. This would point me to looking at the Autocad code that creates the dialog or the code that is used in Windows to create a window. I cannot see any issue with the DCL or Lisp code as it does not issue this problem on other machines. Here is an example on the same dialog from work. Oh, that problem was from my home machine.

Tell you what i would do in such cases (and this is the shortage time to solution 😀) uninstall / reinstall AutoCAD

if this does not help start looking in windows settings.

Thanks. I think the first thing I am going to look at when I get home is the Windows border settings. I seem to remember playing with that once to try and get thicker borders (something I could see). If they are set bigger, I think that could cause the dialog to get cut off. After that, I might just "deal" with it until next month when I am forced to upgrade to Windows 11. That will force a re-install of Windows and Autocad.

But thanks to all for your suggestions. I was really just curious if anyone had seen it before.

All, 

I can now confirm that it was the border width in Windows that was causing this issue. Once set back to default, the DCL dialog looked as it should without any cropping. Thanks again for all your help.
