Custom Contextual Tab States

I'm trying to create a new contextual tab state but not seeing how. Anyone got a link to a good resource for me?

Contextual to what, if I may ask. Do you know how to create any tab?

Contextual Tabs are for very specific functions or tasks: what object time or condition are you wanting to invoke a contextual tab for exactly?

HERE is a video of tab creation with a few panels and adding the tab to the actual workspace.

If you really want a contextual tab, one example is HERE. In this case, it shows when MLEADER is selected.

I've seen that example, it utilizes an existing contextual tab. I want to create new ones that I will reference from my custom tabs.

So at least describe what your tools, that you have added to your panel, are about? What do they do? What type of objects are they related to?

My question is simple. Can a new contextual tab be created or are we restricted to the existing ones? It's either yes or no.

Contextual Tab States are accessible and modifiable for object types. In the CUI for each CUIX under Ribbon→Contextual Tab States you see a + to the left of every object that has any Ribbon Tabs associated with it. While you haven't offered much info on what you're trying to do maybe this will help:
